its been a while, we moved again from Paynesville to Briagolong, set up an awesome studio to work in , back on rain water - soft and beautiful for soapmaking. Recently picked up another 160litres of Extra Virgin cold pressed olive oil from Nullamunjie Olive oil - I am so lucky, this is the BEST oil for soap.

Beautiful Briagolong Sky at Sunset
Being back in the open with some space makes such a huge difference - there is time to think, about recipes, labels, style, now I just have to finish the dishes so I can get on with the doing........

The new studio....

Back into busy!
Cutting fresh LavenderOlive soap cakes, 6 cakes each batch, made with cold pressed extra virgin olive oil from Nullamunjie at Swifts Creek. For more info on the oil go to Nullamunjie
The Curing shed - replacing batches after Christmas sales, all soap batches cure for at least 4 weeks prior to labelling and selling. Each batch weighs approx 18 kg and I like to have 3 batches of each variety ahead - thats 54kgs of each variety, 12 plus varieties.....this shed when full holds around 650 kgs of soap. Thats over half a ton!!

Harry - my beautiful 3yo taking up space on Mums work table to be creative - he is rolling a felt peice for his bedroom door.

Peppermint - ready for harvesting, I pick the leaves and dry them for lemongrass&peppermint soap.
